This is love.
For God so loved the world, that He sent His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Thanks be to our God. Thanks be to our God through Jesus Christ our Lord. This is love. Not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. For our sins. For He Himself is our Peace.

Well, post #2! I am trying to decide what I want to type for our 2nd post. I must admitt, I'm undecided. In fact I have started 3 paragraphs only to delete all of them. I could tell you about all the busyness and fun we have been having this month, but...nah. I could tell you all about the birthday's coming up and any festivity planning or lack of planning we are doing, but...nah. I also could tell you of the inner (and outer) struggles of parenting that we've been facing lately, but...nah, not this time.
But I do want to say...Jesus loves you, Jesus loves me. His Spirit guides us everyday...if we let Him. If we open ourselves up to hear His Voice and notice the "burning bushes" He places in our lives, we will encounter God. We can trust Him with all things...He will never leave us or forget about us or forget about what troubles us. He loves us with an everlasting love.

Here we are!
Well, this is our first ever post and probably like many more to come, I am typing one handed thanks to our beautiful baby Brooke. I couldn't think of any special profound name for this blog but I will keep working on it. Our current family "nickname" will just have to do for now. Life is grand for the Fernalds and it is totally due to God's grace, love and mercy upon our lives. I have heard of others liking their life to an adventure. That rings true for us so...get ready, it's going to be a great one!
